You are bidding on a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport (XJ.) This is a great car but does need some work (please be realistic with your expectations as it is almost 20 years old.) I bought the car as a daily driver and unfortunately I don't have the time to get it fixed up. I wish I did because this car is worth to be fixed. The engine is still good but needs new head gaskets. The car also needs a new radiator. After driving for about 10 minutes the car starts to overheat because of this.The radio/cassette player does not work but the air conditioning does! The radio is on a circuit where if the fuse is in the car the interior lights will not turn off so I have removed this fuse to keep the battery from being drained. The interior does have wear especially on the driver seat (please see pictures) as well as the exterior paint is wearing off. The headliner is coming down in the trunk area of the car but you can still see out of the rear window and the headliner is in good condition in the front. I put a set of brand new Nexen Roadian tires on the vehicle on October 19th ($600 for tires and installation.) The front brake pads, front rotors, and battery are also new (replaced within the last 3 months.) The car will need an oil change in December. This is a great project car because it is a classic. This car has been mentioned on lists of 20 greatest cars of all time. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
