1976 Jeep CJ7. AMC 304 V8 with Quadratrac automatic trans. 10,000 miles has been put on this since being restored about 10 years ago. It was a frame off project. A 1986 rust free tub was used. It has all factory sheet metal except for a fiberglass hood. It's painted Harley orange using the paint code from a 2005 Harley Davidson edition Ford F250. The 304 V8 was a crate motor bought complete oil pan to carb from Edelbrock. It has the oem electronic ignition and hedders on it. The TH400 transmission came from TCI with a new torque converter. Quadratrac transfer case got new bearings and seals. Rear axles were replaced with moser axles. A 4" suspensiom lift kit was installed with shocks and greasable shackles. Ball joints, tie rods, steering box were new. The tires are GoodYear Wrangler MTR 33x12.50x15 and look excellent with no uneven wear. A complete vehicle Painless Wiring harness was used. All heat cables and knobs were replaced. The wipers and heater controls work like they did when new. A Pioneer CD stereo was cut into the dash where the original 2 knob radio was. I added 2 rear 6x9 speaker pods that have cup holders in the top of them. The tall back buckets from the 86 were used. Bestop brand soft top, soft doors, seat covers, padded roll bar covers, and a bikini top were installed along with Stainless steel double tube front bumper, mirrors, hood latches and hinges, cowl vent grill, glove box door. Xenon fender flares-black extra wide were put on. The rear bumper has a 2" hitch receiver painted black. The interior is coated with rhino liner. This summer(2015) I put a new copper radiator in it and new spark plugs and wires. I have always stored this inside during winter months. It has been strictly a summer ride, driven only in nice weather and well cared for.
