1980 Honda CBX

RELISTED - now with Texas Title. Recently imported and I originally listed it with import papers only - it now has a full Texas Title. A great condition 1980 Honda CBX, restored and with lots of updates.  It runs 6x Keihn CR Carbs with K&N Pods from Tims CBX (not cheap!) and also their modern alternator conversion. Ignition is the classic combination of Dyna S and DynaCoils with Taylor leads. It has had a full engine, gearbox and top end rebuild with new NOS valves etc. The bike has also had a professional respray with new decals.  Finally it has an awesome set of six into six pipes made by Pipemaster in Australia - again not cheap! Not concourse, but it is in fantastic shape and is a very early example - one of the original US spec ones made in Japan and shipped over - Frame and Engine SC03-2000227 and SC03E-2000237 respectively . Originally a US bike exported in about 2010, I bought it when living in Dubai, UAE have had it for about 3 years and recently brought it here with me to Dallas.  After the long trip at sea it needs a tune and the carbs could probably do with a clean, but everything works and I was riding it before I left Dubai in May. I have all the import and ownership papers and it now has a Texas Title. I'm already moving again and really don't fancy shipping it halfway around the world again, so get yourself a bargain! I also have an aftermarket 6-2-2 exhaust, the original airbox and alternator that will come with it. Finally, I also have the original carbs which have been cleaned and rebuilt that I'd be willing to take offers on or sell separately. The bike is located in Southlake TX - collection only.
