Vehicle Detail
This 1976 Chevy K20 has had a pampered life and it shows. From it's rust free 65,000 original mile body, running gear, and interior, you can tell it was well cared for. This truck was passed from one brother to another and was your basic sitter for most of it's life. The truck had a minor door injury in the 80's and do to the arid climate of the eastern Oregon desert, they decided to repaint the whole truck due to paint fade. As nice as the truck looks it shows some minor paint imperfections for its age. To drive this truck it truly like going to the dealership in 1976. The near perfect interior is in great shape for its age as you can see from the pictures. With a few cracks in the dash ( Typical for Chevy ) a small ware spot in the carpet from shoes dragging driver side carpet, and a sagging headliner ( another typical Chevy problem ) you will note the lack of ware. With two pumps of the gas the truck fires right up to a fast idle for a warm up, a pop of the throttle it idles down, and your ready to go. The trans works beautifully and shifts the way it should. The steering and the brakes are not the norm for this old of a truck. They work! The truck tracks straight down the road with no wandering and the brakes work fantastic too. This truck unlike most Chevy 4x4s has not been tampered with in any way over its life. The fact that it was not converted from full time four wheel drive just shows how original it truly is. The original owner was skeptical of the reliability of the somewhat new electronic ignition system so he bought the replacement parts for it when he bought the truck ( Pictured ). The parts are still new in the boxes and have yet to be installed. I replaced the 25 year old tires with an almost new set of traction tires ( 150 miles on tires ). As far as trucks go, I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere anytime. All of the gages and accessories work as they should and gages read correctly. The typical rust areas for these trucks is not there on this truck, there simply isn't any rust on this truck. I've looked and can't find any. If you have been looking for an all original rust free low mileage 70's vintage Chevy 4x4 truck but are tired of seeing the typical jacked up, bright yellow, giant tire, worn out Junker kids truck, you can stop looking. This truck is the nicest all original low mile K20 4x4 I've seen in a long time. No over sized tires, no lift kits, no headers, no loud exhaust, no junk! Bid with confidence this truck is really nice and worth bidding on. If the winning bidder decides to drive this truck home rather than having it hauled, I will have a new windshield installed for them. Now my rules. Although I show a low amount of sales through eBay, I'm not new to the proses. I've sold many items over the years through a listing agent at a local business but recently started to list things for myself due to that businesses' closing. The winning bidder will pay for this item via bank to bank transfer only within 48hrs of sales closing or deal is nullified. The buyer has one week to arrange for pick up, or transportation for truck unless other arrangements are made with me the seller. And lastly. As some sellers will do, I will not end auction early to off eBay cash offers. I feel this kills the whole meaning of the eBay auction. So with this all said, bid on!
