This truck is in good condition and is being sold because I bought a 2500 diesel. Sold as-is. This 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 has 252,000 miles, a 30-gallon gas tank and a 3 inch body lift with split rear window. This is a regular cab with a bench seat in good condition, vinyl center seat. Most of the truck's life has been in Texas, it has only been in Wisconsin for a year. It is virtually rust free, there is minor surface rust on the frame but no flaking. The 4L60E transmission was rebuilt with a shift kit on 12/8/14 costing $2,600 including a 1 year warranty, it now has 10,000 miles. The motor has been replaced and has roughly 100,000 miles on it. The 285/75 R16 tires are newer with a lot of tread, aluminum rims and fender flares. The mass airflow sensor is new and the bed is lined. A compstar remote start has been installed with a 300-400 foot range. 3 A-pillar gauges have been installed for transmission temperature, oil temperature and a clock. The head unit has been upgraded to an Alpine and is compatible with USB, Bluetooth and hands-free calling. The speakers have been upgraded to 6x9 Rockford Fosgates 300watt. The A/C and heat work well. There is a break controller with a 7-pin connector. After market full aluminum radiator with dual electric fans controlled by Be Cool temperature operated fan control has been installed. The magniflow catalytic converters, motor mounts, all break pads and rotors, rear calipers, both knock sensors, tailgate bracket and straps,belt kit, thermostat, spark plugs, water pump, and manifold gasket are all new. The truck has power steering cooler and the muffler has been deleted. There is a passenger airbag switch and new high-performance pro comp shocks have been installed. Differential oil has been changed and new gaskets installed. Problems: The truck bed is not aligned to the cab. The airbag light is on due to the connector behind the steering wheel going bad which would roughly cost $600 - $700 to have a shop fix. The driver side tail gate latch does not lock but the tail gate still opens and closes. There are dents on the rear cab corners and no Chevy symbol on the front. Normal wear and tear on the vehicle (small scratches and dents) Please Note: In picture three, the bed of the truck looks misaligned to the cab. This is due to the bed liner and not the actual bed of the truck. The bed liner is able to be removed if the buyer so chooses.
