Vehicle Detail
DESCRIPTION: 1923 T-Bucket. It appears to have a Volkswagen front axle. It has a rectangular box tube frame. When I purchased this vehicle, I was told it had a 1967 Corvette motor. The casting numbers on the back of the block are 3892657. I was told the car was built in the late 60's. The car is a real time capsule -- has a lot of period correct features. The generator has an oiler in the back. It has a Delco Remy distributor with the numbers 1110891-7K5. The Holley Carburetor has numbers C8OF 9510 C, LIST 3795-1 788. It has a Weiand intake with the marking WCVSQ. Other features: Center dump exhaust manifold, short water pump, bolt-on oil filter, old style Corvette valve covers, set of ANSEN swing pedals with hydraulic clutch and brake master cylinder. It has a fiberglass T-bucket body with a fiberglass grille shell. A fiberglass turtle deck goes with the car, but is not installed on the car. The transmission is a 3-speed manual, with markings GM17 3845122 L28. I was told the rear-end came from a 1965 Rambler Scrambler. It has an adjustable rear suspension upper and lower like a four link with Panhard bar with coil over shock. The rear tires are Peerless Sprint GT 60, H60-15 on deep dish steel wheels. The rear wheels turn freely. The left front wheel turns freely, but the right front wheel is stuck. The bottoms of the seats are rough. Recently taken from long-term storage. I have not done anything at all to it -- not a thing. I do plan on soaking the motor with penetrating fluid. Being sold AS IS.
