Vehicle Detail
Buying a Tesla is all about the numbers and the numbers say this car is a steal. Has over $11,500 worth of add-ons.2013 Model S85 with only 19K miles. Per Tesla's own words "this is one of the cleanest 2 year old cars we've ever seen". I will never say a 2 year old car is perfect, no such thing exists, but it's as close to it as you'll get. You'd need a magnifying glass to find a flaw in the paint. Wheels do not have scratch on them. One minor 1/2" slit in the headliner behind the driver. Easily fixable. That's it. To price this car out today on Tesla's website is $99,000 + $11,500 in add-ons as noted below. It is "very close" to being "loaded" (hate when people say a car is loaded and it's not close to loaded)Deep Blue Metallic paint (no longer offered).Tech Package Tan Nappa interiorObeche Gloss dashHigh Fidelity Sound systemAir SuspensionPanoramic RoofParcel ShelfDual Chargers (No longer available in new car build, $2,000 to add after you get your car). ALSO JUST UPGRADED THE CAR FROM 3G CELLULAR SERVICE TO THE 4G LTE SERVICE FOR $500. CAR ALSO HAS THE FACTORY INSTALLED $650 CENTER CONSOLE.Based on just the above, I have a written offer from Tesla for $63,638. Learned how they determine their CPO pricing. Part is based on Original price new, part is based on what they will sell it for as a Certified Pre-owned on their website. They offered 64% of the original price new and 6% back of what they will sell it for. If they get it, it will be sold for $67,700 (non-negotiable). You can buy it from them for $67,700 (priced in line with their other 2013 similarly equipped cars), with a 4 yr, 50K mile warranty that starts the day you buy it. You will NOT be able to extend the warranty. Not offered on CPO's since they give you 4 yrs/50K. So you'd have 4 years and up to 69,000 miles on this car. This car has an available 8 year / 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Benefit of buying a CPO from Tesla?? They inspect the car, put tires on it, service it, give you a warranty and that's it. With a car under factory warranty, this doesn't mean much?? They have to fix any problems anyway. Any time an owner brings in their car, it's inspected and they fix any issues. So no real benefit. However, this car has just been "serviced" ($600 annual done a few months ago and less than 3K miles. It has brand new tires in the past 5 months with 3,000 miles on them. Warranty? Mine is 2 years old with 19,000 miles. I purchased the $4,000 extended warranty. So it has an 8 YEAR, 100,000 MILE warranty. That is 6 years with 81,000 miles remaining. If Tesla buys it and sells it, new owner gets 4 yrs/50K miles. And I get my $4,000 back, on top of the $63,638 offer. Buy it from me, you can get an additional 2 years of warranty and 34,000 more miles. 6 YEARS / 81K MILES of WORRY FREE DRIVING! PLEASE NOTE: PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE WARRANTY. AS I CAN GET A FULL REFUND OF $4,000 FROM TESLA SINCE IT HASN'T BEEN ACTIVATED YET AS THE CAR IS STILL UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY. THE BUYER WILL HAVE THE OPTION TO PURCHASE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SEPARATE FROM THE FINAL PRICE REFLECTED IN THIS AUCTION IF SO DESIRED. Car is still under factory warranty for 31,000 more miles. In addition, it is still under the 8 year / 100,000 mile factory warranty for the Battery and Drivetrain. Now the good stuff. As you can see in the photos, this car has custom 21x9 polished 10 spoke wheels that look AMAZING. Can't tell you how many compliments I get on them. Near new RUN FLAT Pirelli's ($700+ EACH!!). Custom offset out to the edge of the fender, unlike stock wheels being way too recessed (in my opinion).Custom ACS front splitter. A very mild front splitter that just adds a little "sport" to this "elegant" appearing car. I also added the carbon fiber rear spoiler, but a custom one that stretches the entire width of the trunk, unlike Tesla's which for some unknown reason falls short on both sides. Both have been painted to match the factory color. Again, very subtle, but makes it look like an AMG or "M" style package added to a Merc or BMW and shows the car's sporty side. I also added the TESLA factor center console. And the windows have been tinted.Spoiler (FULL TRUNK WIDTH) painted....... $1,400Splitter painted............................................. $1,500Tesla Factory Center Console..................... $ 650 4G LTE Cellular Upgrade............................. $ 500Window Tint.................................................. $ 525Wheels........................................................... $4,200 Tires............................................................... $2,800TOTAL..........................................................$11,575If I sell the car to Tesla, other than tint and the 4G LTE upgrade, all of this comes off the car and I put it on my new P90D, saving me $10,550. Buy from Tesla = $67,700 + $11,575 for adds (that you'll have to do yourself) = $79,275.Buy from me - Will cost less than what Tesla sells it for and it's ready to roll. For California Buyers, Car already has Carpool lane stickers (Took SIX MONTHS for me to finally get them, 6 needless months wasted sitting in traffic, just because the CA DMV is so darn SLOW!!) . Also, registration JUST paid through the end of 2016 ($600+) I've set the starting price at Kelly Blue Book Trade in value. (What a dealer will pay if I trade it in) + just 25% of the cost for all of the add-ons. Adds up to almost the exact price Tesla has offered me for the car. No Reserve. Please note: This is not the Performance Model however does have the 7.0 software update from Tesla which added acceleration to all RWD cars as well as the 2016 Dashboard/gauge panel appearance. Also, this is a 2013 model, therefore does not have Auto-Pilot (I didn't order it on my new car either. It's in "BETA" testing and is still several years out from being a reliable system). PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING TO UNDERSTAND THE PRICING AND WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THAT PRICE AND THE POSSIBLE OPTIONS THAT MIGHT BE AVAILABLE. THANK YOU CAR IS LISTED THROUGH OTHER SOURCES. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS LISTING PRIOR TO AUCTION END IF IT SELLS BEFORE. IF YOU HAVE A BUY IT NOW OFFER, SEND ME A MESSAGE WITH THAT OFFER AND I'LL CONSIDER REVISING THE LISTING TO A BUY IT NOW LISTING. THANK YOU. On Nov-13-15 at 18:23:17 PST, seller added the following information: I HAVE RECEIVED A REASONABLE OFFER THAT I'M CONSIDERING. IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN THIS VEHICLE, I KNOW IT'S CUSTOMARY TO WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE ON E-BAY TO PLACE BIDS, HOWEVER I MAY PULL THE AUCTION IN THE NEXT DAY OR TWO IF THERE'S NO ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY AS THE OFFER I HAVE IS MUCH HIGHER THAN THE CURRENT BID AMOUNT, SO PLACE YOUR BIDS AND THAT ACTIVITY WILL MOTIVATE ME TO LET THE AUCTION PLAY OUT. THANK YOU.
