This was the last year Lotus put the 4 cylinder in the Esprit. 300BHp and 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. In my opinion this was the best year for the Esprit and with only 145 built that year this is number 22. I have owned this car now for almost 4 years. Haven't driven it but for a few miles to the annual smog check since I bought it as I am uncertain as to when the PO last changed the timing belt.
