Feast your eyes on this imperfect, incomplete, and inexpensive 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Sedan 4R11U157765. This car is not a show car, numbers matching, or built to race (it is peppy). That said—it is nice enough to get folks attention, spark a conversation, and cruise about in. It has an original Falcon, three-speed, manual transmission that is harnessed to a three hundred and two cubic inch power-plant; this engine used to reside in a 1970 Mercury Cougar. The engine has been rebuilt, but this work was completed by a previous owner. I have replaced the original distributor, and its related components with an HEI distributor (so much better). I have installed a new aluminum intake, a 600 CFM 4-barrel, double-pumper carburetor, and a custom-painted tachometer (to monitor the newly created, and oh, so welcomed horsepower). I have also installed custom dual exhaust, a new fuel tank, a new sending unit, and a new fuel pump. The tires have a few hundred miles on them, but they still look new. The windshield is new, as are the seat belts, Procar seats (very comfortable and fully adjustable), floor insulation, and the custom, pre-molded carpet. The rear seat is original, but I have not restored it; additionally, I have not installed the headliner, door panels, felts, or mat for the truck. While this car is still yearning for a little more restoration, one, potentially you—could soon enjoy a fun-filled cruise, or a nostalgic conversation with a stranger after you assume ownership of this classic car. Yes, I do drive this car frequently; in fact, I drove it to work (45 miles round trip) for two weeks straight recently.
