1966 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible. Original motor and transmission. Car is currently not running due to gas tank needs to be cleaned as I have had carb rebuilt. This car has been stored in my fathers pole barn for the last 25 years. Front brakes had to be removed to get car moved to my pole barn. This car has the 327/ 275hp original motor which I had running 1 1/2 years ago. The car is a automatic on the floor. This car was given to me by my father who had plans to restore it. My father was a 66 impala fanatic who owned several 66impalas over my lifetime. The car he had restored before this one won the National title 2 years in a row. My family is the third owner of this car This 66 is a very solid all around car just needing the attention of someone who shares the same passion as my father once did. I would classify this car as a class 4-5 condition. Frame has some bad spots in front of both rear tires that need to be repaired or frame replaced. Interior is good condition. You will notice the different color seats in the front. This is because my father found a set of power seats with adjustable head rests to add a Very rare option to this car. Original jack and water bottle still with this car. Trunk and floors are solid. Convertible top is in great condition, just need s a good cleaning. Motor has new parts on it from when I got this car running 1 1/2 years ago. Car will be local pick up only and is sold as is. This car is ready to be restored and will provide its next owner with many historic year's of enjoyment. I have a HUGE assortment of parts for this 66 that include many new/ old stock OEM parts that will be available for purchase by the winning bidder. I have just about every part needed to restore this car. These parts DO NOT come with this auction but will be available for purchase. The assortment of parts will eventually be listed here on ebay after the winning bidder has had first chance at them. Thanks
