1987 Volkswagen Jetta 1.6 Turbo diesel 1987 Vw Jetta turbo diesel ( swapped ) Title is listed as a 16v Jetta GLI Think it eco-diesel 1.6l swap Odometer says 147k not sure miles on motor ACH 5 speed manual transmission Clean Texas car ( been in Nebraska. 3-4 months ) Recaro trophy seats / matching door panels Non-sunroof Ac equipped but not swapped over to function Great tires on tear drop rims Manual Windows Aux input aftermarket CD player with upgraded speakers. Noticed amp wiring under driver seat but no amp Starts right up and goes. Known issues: ( the longer it sits in my driveway i will start sorting this stuff ) Leaking coolant looks like from water pump or thermostat housing. There was a brand new water pump included in box. Not installed. It is small drip leak. Doesn't prevent it from being driven far distance but obviously needs replaced fixed The heater core is bypassed. Not sure if it means it's bad or just by passed because it was a south Texas car.. Haven't looked into it. Blower motor doesn't seem to work even though when I asked the previous owner about it he said it worked last week.. At 45 mph there is a noise from front passenger side. Previous owner thought axle I think. Wheel bearing. Once again haven't looked into it. Driver lower recaro - support elastic thing is broken - seat sags when sitting - still super comfortable.... because its a recaro. Friend bought this Texas few months ago. Flew down to buy Miata. Miata was junk ended buying this and drove it back to Nebraska. Been daily since into last week. When I bought it.. Only rust spot I found was driver door sill... 402-671-0355.
