This car has had an older restoration, it looks good, but with a detailed inspection it shows it is ready for a re-restoration. The body is as solid as you will ever see, rockers, floors, inner rockers all are exceptionally clean and solid. The paint is shiney but has several areas of very small bubbles (not rust) looks more like poor prep work. I have 2 photos that show some of these areas. Interior has been redone and is in good condition. Dash could use a little clean up. The chrome is good, no pits, rust or flaking, but not as nice as it could be. Tires are very good wide whites. Glass is good. The engine starts easily, no smoke, not as quiet as could be. Has been converted to 12volts, generator, regulator and battery. Lights changed. Has a new long (original style) battery. Needs a new muffler. Trans has a low grawl. Hop in it and go, you won't win any car shows but you'll be the only 47 Pontiac there. An excellent car to re restore, it's all there and extremely solid. Build an all PONTIAC rod. Car is in Macon, Georgia in inside storage and may remain there for a month, once paid for. Please E-mail me with questions and concerns. Thanks
