Vehicle Detail

Hard to find vintage roadster, this widely popular convertible is a pleasure to drive. The 1.8 liter inline motor, believed to be the factory original, has undergone any repairs & labor hours that proved necessary to ensure the delivery of a light & smooth shifting, yet surprisingly powerful & energetic performance, eager to take command of the road. The 4 speed manual gearbox with a working optional overdrive is perfect for cruising the open highway, & when coupled with its clean lines & chic look, makes the purchase of this MG an absolute must! Regarding the overall condition, the doors open & close nicely & appear to fit well with the body, & the aluminum (also believed original) hood closes down tightly & holds snug within the frame. Along with the proper chrome wire wheels, also chrome bumpers, front grille, & stainless trim along the sides, these distinct characteristics are what separate this 1966 model from earlier as well as later versions. Addressing the interior, attention is first called to the metal dash, complete with crisply appointed Smiths gauges (all working). Although the radio has unfortunately been previously removed, the iconic original fabric speaker is still in place. The black hides, carpets, & both of the door's trim & dash trim are all in very good condition, as is the chrome hardware. The original stylish and sleek steering wheel is finished out with the use of a silver wire spoke pattern. Finally, as you prepare for a Sunday afternoon drive to the country, you will be able to sit comfortably, immersing yourself into the well appointed black leather seating. Coming complete with the again, believed to be original spare accessories, this roadster is ready for a new owner. Please do not bother to bid if you have no real intention of actually purchasing this car. Thanks so much, and please email any questions or requests that you may have! Note: Unfortunately, I discovered a small tear in the trim of the dashboard...nothing of anymajor significance, but of course, needing to be disclosed!
