Vehicle Detail
I purchased this Land Cruiser when I first moved to Idaho, almost 2 years ago, as a means to get around until my car was delivered. It has been such a dependable and safe truck that I have just kept a hold on it but it is now time to let it go for someone to hopefully restore it to original condition. The car came from a non smoker and it hasn't been smoked in since I've had it. I would love to bring it back to it original state but lack the skills and knowledge to do it. In the past 2 years it has never left me stranded and I've had a very few things fixed on it as it's just been a great truck to drive. I will do my best to list the good and bad points to this Land Cruiser, the pictures were taken without cleaning the truck in any way and it was also running. The Good:Solid BodyDependableAll the power options work4X4 works wellTires have fair tread7 Seater (2 jump seats in the rearAC is the coldest of any car I've ever hadNewer plugs, rotor, wiresBattery is 1 year oldNew radiator (the old on had a crack in it) The Bad:Leaks oil (The guy I bought it from said it was from the rear main) leaks about 1qt every 3K milesCracked windshield welcome to IdahoCracks in the dash padCruise Control doesn't workAntenna was replaced with a crappy onePrevious seller removed some of the speakersHas two small dents in the hood you can see best from the drivers seat, a larger dent in the lift gate on the rearOil pressure gauge doesn't workWindow tint is old and bubbled upClear coat is peeling and paint isn't good This truck is 24 years old but has been great to me and I would fear driving it anywhere, however I can't guarantee you that it will get you back to your home. It's a beautiful classic from that has lived it's whole life in the high dessert plains of Idaho. The truck has little to no rust and the body is in really good shape. This truck makes a great daily driver and is heavy and safe. I have tried to list everything that I know that needs to be worked on, I am however not a mechanic. I have done my best point out any issue that the truck has, if you have any questions please ask me. Someone will be really happy with this truck.
