I have a beautiful eye catching survivor 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury. Everyone stops to look at this car. If you like an attention getter add this one to your collection. This car is a 2 owner vehicle and has always been garage kept in TEXAS! It has the original 318 that runs great. Does have an exhaust leak on the left exhaust manifold. I Have the car in the shop for a carburetor rebuild and brake work one wheel cylinder was leaking. All this will be fixed except exhaust leak. This car has never sat up for a long period of time or in a field. It has always been driven occasionally and maintained. The engine compartment is mostly original with the exception of an added electric fuel pump, carb, battery. There is some rust in the battery tray area. The interior is fairly new nos original fabric according to previous owner and looks amazing. It is missing the door armrests but no holes were drilled in the new door panels. (I have 1 but its broken) The glass is very nice, but the windshield does have windshield wiper marks on passenger side. I tested a small area with wax and it shines up beautifully. However I did not wax the whole car I wanted to leave it with the original patina. There are several small chips that could use some touch up but that's for the new owner to decide. You can drive the car as is and get thumbs up everywhere you go. I Believe this is the most solid original car on the market that's un restored. The trunk interior cardboard is original but deteriorating, a new cardboard kit and mat would do it great justice. The underside of the hood and trunk lid retain the original linings and paint. there is a very small amount of rust coming thru on the trunk lid and right 1/4 panel see photos. Very minimal. This car is hiding nothing with bondo excessive seam sealer or anything like that. It has the original undercoating and tar like substance in trunk area. All original spot welds are visible and no rust on the frame or under carriage. You are more than welcome to send an appraiser or inspector to look at this car to verify its exactly as described. the car has p/s and swivel seats as options.
