Vehicle Detail
1976 Honda CB750 K6 in Candy Antares Red with 18,959 miles Frame # CB750-2559678 Engine # 750E-2448854 ***Low Reserve ready to sell*** Description: IMMACULATE, ORIGINAL! Bike runs and rides as close to new. Starts immediately, shifts smooth, idle great. ALL lights, signals, gauges, and indicators work properly. The engine sounds great through the factory original exhaust. Please see the photos - they tell the tale of a great 39 year old bike in its original beauty. Even the stock pipes HM341 look new with no dents or holes with chrome in excellent shape. Gas tank has been professionally repainted with NOS decals and badges. The tank has had a liner installed. All chrome looks great. There is no smoking or oil/gas leaks. Painted side covers have been replaced with ABS plastic replacements that don't crack like the originals. All repairs have been by professionals. The seat is new with a few hundred miles since being installed. Carbs cleaned, and synced. Both tires have been replaced with Dunlop tires of the period - the same ones it was wearing on the showroom floor. So few miles on them, the tires still have the "hair" on them. I see the bike as an 8 out to 10. When parts are purchased I save the packaging with the part number on it and can send those to the buyer, and in nearly all cases, work was done by a professional motorcycle mechanic. (See table of parts replaced below) The following YouTube link has a short video taken today (October 4, 2015) on the startup and revs and a test ride https://youtu.be/ifC52NZmDSE History: I wanted one of these when I was a kid in high school (1974 graduate), that dream finally came true in 2009. I bought it from the third owner. I have a Texas tile in the name of my LLC, of which I am the president. The registration, and inspection are current. I have done light restorative work to the bike and had planned on it being a family heir loom. My plans have change. I have hopes of the bike finding a home where its original condition is respected and continued. It's unmolested and presents itself as a stock bike with very little wear on it. Flaws: I nicked the new paint while installing the gas cap. Its about 1/16th inch. I’ve included a picture of this paint-nick. (Now you know why I hired professionals to do the work) Service History: 1976 Honda CB750 Parts and Service Done Year Item Comments 2009 Seat NOS Seat 2009 Paint Tank & Side Covers (Antares Red) 2009 Paint NOS badges & emblems decals 2009 Paint NOS Gas Cap 2009 Paint NOS under tank aluminum trim 17052-300-000 2009 Paint Side cover Grommets 17247-303-000 2010 Tires Front - Dunlop RB2 3.50 X 19 2010 Tires Back - Dunlop model K112 4.0 X 18 2010 Chain Replaced with New 2010 Fork Boots Both sides - Pair of 51611-300-00 2010 Fork Seals Both sides - Replaced with New 2010 Fork legs polish fork legs - matt finish 2010 side casing tumble and polish- matt finish 2010 Hand Grips NOS 53165-342-670 2013 buddy pegs NOS rubbers cotter pints 50716-371-660 2013 foot pegs NOS foot rubbers 50661-310-000 2013 Kickstart NOS Kick Start 28311-329-000 2012 Fuel Tank Flush out, install sealer, clean fuel line & carbs 2014 Hand Levers Left and Right side 2014 Ignition NOS Ignition Kit 35010-374-671 2014 Ignition NOS Switch + Key 2014 Ignition NOS Seat latch + matching key 2014 Exhaust Headers – NOS 4 chrome fin clamps + bolts 18231-300-010 2014 Exhaust Headers – NOS 4 copper seals 92101-080320B 2014 Exhaust Tailpipe – NOS 2 Rubber connectors 18472-300-000 2014 Exhaust Tailpipe – NOS 2 Clamps + bolts 18473-300-000 2015 Fuel NOS Petcock Valve 16950-341-671 2015 Fuel NOS Float Valve Set 16011-341-004 2015 Fuel NOS Carburetor Gasket Kit 16010-300-305 2015 Fuel MTL Rust Rescue RMVR - Tank liner (replaced the 1st one) 2015 Battery Yuasa YB14L-A2 2015 Spak Plugs D8EA NGK Plugs BX/1 2015 Side Covers 39 year old originals broke while bike was being repaired Replaced with ABS plastic side covers and repainted to match tank Bidding & Payment: A $500.00 deposit (non-refundable) will be required within 24 hours of the close of the auction and payable by PayPal. The balance of funds is required within 7 days of the close of the auction and must be provided by cash, cashier’s check, US Personal Check, money order, PayPal. FOR PAYPAL, OR OTHER SUCH PAYMENT SYSTEMS. You, the buyer, will need to add the fees and charges associated with the transaction as your cost causing the exact amount of the winning bid to come to me, the seller. FOR ALL PAYMENTS OTHER THAN CASH, I will hold the bike and the title until my bank clears the payment. This will take as long as it takes. Choose the payment method that meets your desire for possession. Full payment must be made (and payments cleared) before the title and/or the vehicle is released. If all the funds are not received within the seven days, I reserve the right to keep the deposit and resell the motorcycle by re-listing or to another bidder. Warranty – Obviously there ain’t one: The motorcycle is being sold "as-is/where-is" with no warranty expressed, written or implied. Any descriptions or representations are made with reasonable judgment and all efforts are made to ensure fair assessment and accuracy but they are for descriptive and identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects at the buyer’s request prior to the close of the auction. Storage: The bike is stored in my garage and may remain there for a reasonable period of time, which does not extend beyond 30 days of payment received date. (See above – you have 7 days to pay). I’ve sold bikes where it took more than 30 days for a pickup and that is uncomfortable– time goes faster than you think. There are no financial ramifications for going over 30 days, just know that you will be taking unfair advantage. Shipping: I am happy to assist with shipping arrangements but the winning bidder takes full responsibility for pickup and/or shipping and at his/her cost. My location is accessible by 18-wheeler-moving-vans.
