This is my 2004 Ford F150 that I have owned it since 2009. I'm the second owner of this vehicle and I bought it with about 40,000 miles. About 10,000 miles ago I had the rear end gears and seals replaced because a seal went bad and the oil leaked out causing a winding noise. I had the leveling kit installed on the front end as well as new springs. There is a K/N intake filter, AC blows cold and heat blows hot. The reason I am selling the truck is because the Motor has a ticking noise and it is starting to run rough. I had the motor die on me while driving a few months back. I replaced the VVT solenoids and now the motor doesn't die, but it just doesn't run as smoothly. The truck still drives except it has low power and a ticking noise coming from the motor. Since this is an online listing and you cant drive the vehicle or come look at it before the sale I would expect the motor to have some internal work to be done. The ABS light is on. I scanned it and the readout said a bad rear speed sensor. I have not replaced the sensor yet. The front left 4WD actuator is starting to make a little noise during low RPM acceleration. I have had this same noise occur before and replacement of the 4WD hub actuator fixed it. Recently I moved from Michigan to Chicago where it is very difficult to commute with a truck. I love this truck and wish I could keep it, but I just dont have the time to fix it. If you have a little time to look around for some parts and are familiar with engine repair you can save yourself a couple grand and walk away with a nice truck inside and out.
