No Reserve. Factory all electric Ford Ranger EV. Most were crushed in the early 2000's the same as the EV1's and Rav4 electrics. This was done because the manufacturers didn't allow owners who leased them to buy the vehicles back when the lease expired. 1,000's of vehicle were just crushed and scraped making these very rare trucks. There's only about 200 left. This is the only factory electric pickup ever made. It's in very good condition, super clean and straight body with very good original paint. Interior and exterior looks almost new. Everything works. However, it needs some battery maintenance. Up until a year ago it was my daily driver. I averaged 50 - 55 mile range. I bought a new Ford Focus EV in September 2014 and unfortunately let the Ranger sit for long periods. In the process the batteries got out of balance. The truck runs and drives fine but the range is now unpredictable and reduced. The batteries need some reconditioning. I suspect there are one or two cells (out of the 250 cells in the truck) that dropped out during the period of non use. These individual cells can be reconditioned or replaced and it's possible to buy good condition replacements. Or this would also be a great vehicle for an upgrade to newer technology batteries which a lot of owners have done. When I bought this truck years ago from a city fleet, it had been sitting for years with dead batteries. I pulled out the battery pack and reconditioned them and they came back to almost 100% life and worked great since. That is until I let them get really low again this past year by letting the truck sit unused. This is an original NiMh battery truck. Ranger EV's came in two versions, lead acid batteries and the much preferred and better NiMh ones. This Truck has around 44,000 miles on it but is in great condition. Comes with a 400 page factory service manual and charger unit, in bed tool box, factory bed liner and bed cover.
