This is an amazing preservation of a 1977 Chevy 4x4. I found it in a private museum where it was kept in climate controlled area. The truck actually still has a new car smell to it, original am radio, original bias ply tires with spare and the hub cabs. That is incredible to me. The interior is mint, although there is a small split in the middle of the dash. The truck runs great, starts right up and has quite a bit of power. I did have to change the original carb, because the ethanol ate up the stock q jet. I put an eldebrock 600 cfm, which made the truck run even better. I also had to change the body mounts and exhaust due to age, but as far as I know the truck is completely original. It even has the assembly line stickers under the hood, as well as original jack and jack instructions. There were some paint chips which I sanded around and primered to prevent rust. The truck does not have any cancer. It is in awesome shape for it's age. I have seven vehicles and the wife just bought me a new pickup, so one vehicle has to go. I drive the jeeps and bike in the warmer weather and never take the truck out during the winter because of the salt and sand, which means I never get to drive it. I put about 250 miles a year on it. It needs to go to a good home where someone can appreciate a nice stock classic truck. Where else could you possible find a truck like this with such low miles and in unmolested shape? It is also the short bed, which makes it even more desirable. I really hate to let it go. To the future buyer of this truck, don't judge me if you see my eyes water as I sell it to you. Truck is also being listed locally, so if you are very interested, you might consider the buy it now price. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
