The tires have good tread, hold air, but have weathering cracks. The battery would not charge, but will start and run without it. Lock on the gas cap is in op, it latches, but won't lock. The R/side blinkers, horn, and some of the indicator lights are not working. Some may be simply bulbs, but I suspect the L/side switch (with the horn button, blinkers, Hi-Lo, etc.) is the culprit. The headlight,Hi-Lo beams, the neutral light, the dash lights, tail light, and brake lights are all working. Chrome is not perfect, but well above average with some light pitting. This was a running, driving machine when I purchased it, with a clear title signed and notarized by the last owner, ready for transfer. It has 3200 original miles. bike was cleaned, polished, painted, repaired, or replaced parts. all moving parts lubricated. Gas tank was cleaned, flushed, and relined. Petcock was rebuilt, new gas lines. The fenders, side cover, and gas tank were painted back to the original silver. Frame was repainted. New factory decals were added, new seat cover, new mirrors, and brake lever. The speedo and tach work. The carburetor was rebuilt, new plugs, new air filter, fresh oil change. Brakes are good, starts easily, runs strong Took it around the block a few times, rides well, injection system working as designed. May need brake shoes?
