Much lower reserve! For sale is a 1976 titled Classic Mini Cooper in right-hand drive. The car is at 1994 Rover Mini specifications with a 1.3 liter fuel injected (SPI) motor and interior trim. Needs nothing other than a new home and attention to small items. It does get attention where ever it goes and is a hoot to drive! This is a rare imported Japanese spec - Right Hand Drive - Classic Mini car with factory air conditioning. A/C blows cold. We have owned this car since 2008 and restored the body to address rust add additional safety protection with the upgraded doors with internal side-protection bars. It doesn't get the attention it deserves at home and needs a new home. Fun car - drives like a large go-Kart, with very responsive steering and suspension. Easily does 70-80 on the highway. Mechanically sound. I upgraded to the safer 1996-2000 doors with internal side-protection crash bars for added safety. The body was completely stripped, a few small rusted bits were cut out and new sheet metal welded in in 2008 with protective undercoat applied. No rust on this beauty Has been garaged every winter. Both door skins replaced with the upgrade crash bars - and everything painted a matching red with white racing stripes on the hood and solid white roof. Instrument cluster converted to MPH from KPH and indicates correct mileage. Magnolia wood dash. Rear shelf has speakers but no radio installed - just a blanking plate (see pics). Japan spec radio was never replaced with a US one - easy to add a radio - wiring and antenna all there. Passed PA state inspection after pictures were taken this summer. I replaced the exhaust flex pipe, and wiper blades. New rear window seal and trim installed. Previous work: clutch, output seals, thermostat, A/C recharge, brake pads, new rear brake cylinder, taillight seals, wiper arms, clutch master cylinder, general tune-up, Hella H4 LHD headlights, LED brake lights, and in-tank fuel pump. Parts readily available from US sources or from the UK. Parts CD included. Needs minor work on non-critical systems. Nothing to prevent you from driving it home and enjoying it immediately. Odometer may change slightly as I still drive it, but won't be up by more than 100 miles. It's small, unique, cool, fun to drive, and a real eye-catcher.
