Classics and Customs is a 30 plus year old internationally recognized ,award winning, restoration facility. From time to time we sell off a few of our projects that we know we will never get to. NOW ONTO THE CAR. What is for sale is the remains of a 1963 1/2 galaxy XL hard top. The front seats and console with shifter are long since gone. The transmission tunnel is in GREAT shape. As the body is rusty the frame is in excellent condition with only surface rust. This car was originally equipped with an automatic transmission and a 289 motor with a 9 inch ford rear end. I do not know if the rear end is open or a posi track. I will check and comment later. The trunk has been repaired with several patches. The deck lid is pure rust. We do have both rear tail light assembly's. The flamed front fenders came off a different galaxy ( notice the 427 emblems ) and are in better shape than the rest of the car. The front and rear windshields are good, as are the rear quarter glasses. There is NO glass for the doors, however both doors are in better than fair condition with surface rust only.
