This is an early 55 Chevy pick up, top chopped about 3 inches, all of the metal work is done. Also the windshield is cut down to fit and included. This project can be bought for about the cost of the roof chop. The truck sits on a 71 Chevelle frame that has been shortened and narrowed, cab mounted, custom bed built and mounted, fuel tank installed, battery mounted and wired. Doors and hood hinged but not latched. The stock 454 engine seen in the pics is not included in this auction listing, but is available to the highest bidder for $1500. additional payment .The engine was bought as a stock rebuilt from a marine shop, checked for correct rotation, oil pan changed to a chevelle pan, and intake manifold changed to the polished single carb tunnel ram. The truck has a turbo 400 trans, custom length drive shaft installed. Power disc brakes are plumbed and installed, only needing a pushrod from thr pedal to be complete. Power steering box installed and connected to a Trans Am steering column. The floor is in except for the trans tunnel, which needs to be fabbed and installed. The fenders are hung with only 2 or 3 bolts each, temporary for mock up. Included are a nice pair of running boards which will need shortening, original heater, gauges, brackets, mounts.
