1996 VFR 750 RC-30 in excellent overall condition. The VFR 750 is widely recognized as one of the most technologically advanced bikes of its time, featuring an Elf engineered single sided swingarm, Gear driven Cams, a torquey/rev happy V-Four and fantastic fit and finish, including full instrumentation and dash amenities not typically seen on a sport bike. MCN magazine quotes: "For many, bike journalists included, the best road bike ever built. In 1994 Honda revised an already exceptional motorcycle, giving it super-model looks while still retaining those quintessential VFR qualities of legendary reliability, consistent performance and supreme comfort. The bodywork become less angular and gained Ferrari-esque louvres on its side panels". This bike was purchased as a machine in "excellent condition" and was treated to a completely illogical,no expense spared rejuvenation. The amount of $ and time spent on this bike is more than the reserve and certainly would not get you anything comparable. Most of these bikes took neglect and abuse well and still performed well enough. It is not unusual for these bikes to log 100,000 - even 150,000 miles and do so in extreme comfort and timeless style. This bike has never been wrecked or down at speed - I can not vouch for whether or not it has been tipped over, but indications are that it has not. There is a 1" crack in the right rear tail section of the bodywork - it's a typical spot for these bikes and has been properly reinforced/repaired from the back side - stable for use or could be filled and blended - the paint code is still available and is displayed with a decal under the seat.
