1999 Saab 9-3 Convertible. Aside from the following description, this is a great car and Saab’s are wonderful. Car was being driven until about 3 months ago. Has been sitting now and don't want this car to sit as it is bad for the car. Started driving rough, gradually. I was told by a certified mechanic that it was best to park it until repairs made. No dash lights are on! Needs some work- According to the mechanic the main concerns are: motor mounts, serpentine belt, right front axle and high pressure hose. Muffler needs to be replaced. The roof has been utilized manually. The roof had stopped working although the pump was serviced and filled. Small rod on right side of roof underbelly needs to be replaced. In up position it will not lock down completely in the back. The roof fabric itself is in good condition. Easy to get up and down manually and it locks down. Interior leather good except for drivers seat where there is a tear in the side seam. See picture. All other seats good. Currently using seat covers. Overall Interior is clean and well kept and in good condition. Small wear spot on passenger side floor(under mat placement). Missing one visor. Headliner and handle for interior convertible roof are currently not installed due to manually using the roof and not wanting to damage/crack the replaced parts (see picture) when manually moving roof. Parts for repairs are very reasonable and all parts I was able to locate on a search. I say this because people tend to think you can't get parts. I have a 2000 model just like this one and it is a fun car. Car has Saab rims and the tires have only about 1500 miles on them. Fuel pump was replaced along with PCV valve, plugs and DIC checked. Does not have any codes on but drives rough due to motor mounts issue. Clear coat on paint hood and truck lid gone. Otherwise, minor paint imperfections on other surfaces given the age of the car. This car does not have rust, unless typical to the age of car underside, which I do not see any. This is the fullest disclosure I can give based on my knowledge. This car is being sold AS IS. I have revealed all I know and am hoping someone will love this car back to life and it doesn’t have to go to the Car cemetery.
