Jeep cj-8 scrambler restored last winter I bought this in Minnesota so it was pretty rusty underneath but the exterior and paint were not to bad so I took the body off and cut out all the rust and replaced the metal. The frame was so bad I had throttle down customs in Lewistown Montana build me a new one with a built in rear bumper and tire carrier and reverse shackles. I also got a 2.5 inch lift kit there. it has 5 new 32x11.5 tires on dick cepek rims, new carpet new tuffy locking console and a new stereo. The rest of the interior was in good shape. I did have to install an aftermarket fuel gauge and sending unit as I could not get the original to work the paint is driver quality as it was painted about seven years before I got it by the previous owner. Call or text 701-391-2853.The box floor was gone ,I cut it back to good metal built some frame work out of 1x3 tube and laid a piece of diamond plate over it, also I cut out any rust that was in the floor boards and replaced with good metal . I also had to build new frame work under the passenger area so I would have a solid place for body bushings to mount to new frame, which by the way is some of the best work I have ever seen those guys at throttle down customs are awesome. then I put on a rust inhibitor and undercoated the whole thing, the exterior doesn't appear to have any rust although it does have some runs and small dings and scratches, it also has some small cracks at the lower back edge of the door openings.The engine and 5 speed are out of a 1991 wrangler with 90000 miles and I put a 2150 motorcraft carb on it from the guy on ebay that makes the jeep conversion kit . it runs great.
