I will begin this ad with the statement that anyone that is really interested in purchasing this car will know much more about them than I do. That being said I also need to point out that the title on this car is LOST and I have just begun the RE-ISSUE PROCESS. I will GUARANTEE ( in writing ) a CLEAR TEXAS TITLE within 30 days of the close of auction. It could be sooner but I want time enough to insure that I can JUMP THRU all of the state of Texas hoops in time to have it in 30 days! Now about this great little car! I am a restorer in South Texas and I took this car in on trade for some work done on another vehicle. It runs and drives very well and seems to be able to turn right going 70 mph. I am told that the engine is the original and that it has never been out or apart. The clutch works just as it should as do the brakes. This is a MAJIC car to drive it is waaaaaaay COOL.Its duel carbs are the SU type ,I believe I was told, in any case said to be the preferred carbs. this car has NO RUNNING or driving issues at all!!! Although this car has some slight rust beginning on the outside ,it has NO serious rust issues! The suspension is tight and the tires are new. With the exception of a good detail this car is road ready! As far as the cosmetics go if you would like for us to prepare for paint ( fix the slight rust and prep for paint) OR complete paint on this little car just get with me and we can do that as well. If you want ANYTHING done to this car we can handle it in my shops. The only real "repairs " it needs are cosmetic! I have posted the rust on the outside. I will repair,the right way, all of the rust on the exterior which includes removing the windshield and re-installing with a new gasket for $1100.00 As you will see in the pics the car is complete. As my ad states what I would charge to CORECTLY repair ALL of the rust. It spent 6 months on S.Padre Island and the rust is ON THE TOP SURFACES only! As the current HIGH BIDDER is a COMPLETE FLAKE and NOT a person of their word a single dollar more will again be the high bidder. It angers me to know that EBAY will let MORONS bid on what ever they want to and then I ,as a seller, have NO RECORSE to cancel their bid and let the rest of the world know that a TRUE JERK has once again wasted everyone's time!
