This 1970 Travelall is a great rig for use as is or for the full on restoration. With only 69,371 original miles it still has lots of life left in it. It was ordered by some one who knew what they wanted. all of the options are as follows. Power Steering Power Brakes Auto Trans Air Conditioning Bucket Seats W/Console Full Carpet Rear Barn Doors This truck runs and drives well and the A/C will freeze you out of the cab! Unlike all Internationals this one only had very minimal rust. The rust around the wheel wells was cut out and new metal was welded back in. No body filler has been put into these repaired areas. I was leaving that part up to the body shop prior to paint. The floors were completely rust free and still where's it's original paint like the jams. The only rust that has not been addressed is around the hood hinges and lower corners of the windshield ( Each rust spot below the windshield is less than an 1" ) The interior door panels show minimal where and the seats have been completely rebuilt. The seat material is original 1970 IH fabric and vinyl from SMS Auto Fabrics. That's why it looks great, because it's the real thing! As for the drive train all the radiator and heater hoses are new and fresh fluids. The entire fuel system has been gone through. Both gas tanks have been hot tanked, and pressure tested. New fuel lines. Fuel selector valve has been rebuilt. New fuel pump and filter. The carb has been rebuilt. Tune up has been done also. One of the ways I could verify that the miles were original was when I did the tune up on it. It still had the factory installed distributor cap with the IH cast in it, all of the hoses were stock with original clamps too. I had a set of 15X8 steel wheels powder coated but would recommend a new set of tires because of age. The underneath of the rig is great with only minimal surface rust from road driving over the years. The barn doors are a nice thing too. No bad power rear window motor to mess with, doors always work! If you have been looking for a Travelall but have been shocked by the rust, worn out interiors, or completely worn out truck, this is one you'll like. The only thing left that I feel it needs is a high quality paint job. I have set a low reserve price that should be easily meet. I have also decided to let this auction run its full coarse and not end it early so don't ask if I'll end it early. At auctions end winner must pay for vehicle in full with in 3 days of auctions end via bank to bank transfer only. I will allow buyer 10 days to arrange for transportation of vehicle.
