It is in beautiful shape in every way. The 63,000 mile odometer reading is 100% accurate and reflected in the overall condition of the rig. One owner, purchased new in Oregon and has been here since day-one. History reports through Carfax and Autocheck both show a perfect track record with absolutely no negative details. I am reducing certain portions of my collection so that I can focus more on the vintage cars and trucks I currently own and have been ignoring for quite some time. Some of my Jeeps will be finding new homes. This Wrangler is in very nice condition from top to bottom and front to back. She has never been abused or in an accident. No aggressive off-road use, mud holes or rock climbing. 100% stock configuration. Extremely clean inside and out with very few flaws of any kind. The handful of minor blemishes she does have I will document in detail within this display. Interior, exterior and mechanical components are in wonderful condition. She starts, runs, shifts, drives and performs just like she looks. I will continue the description process under certain photos provided below. My opinions have guided me well and I stand behind them but please keep in mind that these are my personal opinions and observations and they may differ from your own. Yes, she's 10 years old and has traveled a modest 63,000 miles so evidence of her gentle use can be seen on close inspection. Tiny rock chips on the front edges are about all you'll find. The paint holds an impressive mirror-like shine. Reflections from the surroundings are easy to see in the finish. The price I pay for having such a high gloss. The interior is in great shape from stem to stern. Seats, door panels, carpet and dashboard are all excellent. No excuses required. Ah, the infamous Jeep 4.0 liter in-line 6 cylinder. One of the most durable power plants out there. Strong and reliable with good performance and fair fuel economy. At 63,000 miles mine is running perfectly. Always smooth with crisp throttle response. There are no noises, misses, fluid leaks or issues of any kind. Simply turn the key and go. Current on service. I am aware of no deferred maintenance. Please note: As I just mentioned previously, the paint has an extremely high shine. Reflections can appear as flaws. They are not! There is only one ding worth documenting and I provide a close up photo of that blemish further down this display. All glass is crystal clear and free of defects, even the plastic windows in the soft top are clear. No fading or cloudiness. Notice the orange road cones reflecting in the door. Windshield is perfect. FLAW- This flying little rock barely missed the windshield. Unfortunate blemish but it is small and the only one worth mentioning. Top is perfect. All 5 factory alloy wheels are excellent. Tires are near new. I just had them high-speed balanced. She's smooth at 75mph. The tires are so deep in tread that they picked up pebbles when I pulled over on some gravel to snap the interior pics. I'm pretty fussy so I will spend the time with a sharp screwdriver to remove them. Hello- I took this picture to remind myself to mention some minor imperfections on the hood/vent area. There are a few very tiny dimples and superficial paint blems that can only be seen from just the right angle. I'm getting overly picky here but I didn't want to leave any stone un-turned or detail forgotten. All of the interior is in remarkable condition. Yes, I have floor mats that protect the carpet. I removed them to show how nice the flooring is. Everything on my Wrangler works properly. All gauges, lights, heat, cold A/C, wipers, horn and even the cruise control maintains exact speeds. The factory stereo system is actually very nice with great sound quality and in this photo you can see the sound bar (roof speakers) in the upper panel near the lights. Interior is near perfection other than this small stain on the back seat. I have never noticed it before and only found it while taking all of these photos. I will attempt to clean it. I'm sure I can take care of it. The cargo area is in nice condition but you can see wear on the lower edge from golf clubs and normal cargo items that were allowed to be dragged in and out rather than lifted. This photo stretched itself somehow. I just wanted to show the gear shift and transfer case handle. I snapped a couple of pictures as I was heading into Downtown Portland while driving the Jeep. I've been here all 48 years of my life. Such a pretty city. You can just about eat off the engine compartment. There are no fluid leaks or greasy build-up. Just like all Wranglers of this era, power steering and power brakes were standard options. Most also had air conditioning like mine. All of this Jeep's life has been spent here in the mild climate of Oregon. Never exposed to a salted road. Light road dirt is all you'll find on the under belly. No heavy undercoating or corrosion. 30 minutes of pressure washing would clean it right up. My Wrangler also has DISC brakes front and rear. It stops on a dime. The 6 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly into and out of each gear. Linkage is tight and the position of each gear is easy to find. I'm not a penny- pincher so I upgraded the transmission with a 2006 model unit. All of the six speed transmissions in every 2004, 2005 & 2006 Wranglers were German made but slight improvements were done in '06. I had the entire clutch system replaced since I was there anyway. Of course, I had the fly wheel surfaced as well. Clutch engages and releases like butter. Suspension and steering components are tight and sound. She drives perfectly. No shakes, rattles or vibrations. As a collector, my appreciation for these Unlimited Wranglers might go deeper than most of you out there. I just love them and this one is in excellent shape.
