Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Hello, I have a very nice 1976 Pacer X for sale. Low miles for the year with only 107k. Very original and very minor rust. Probably the most solid Pacer I have seen. The paint scheme is two tone tan and maroon. Has very nice white interior and even the driver seat is nice with just normal seam wear. AMC used very good upholstery material for their seats. Headliner is nice. Dash is nice with only one crack starting and some shrinkage. Radio is not hooked up. Engine is very sound and not burning oil and has a nice even idle. Drives very nice and the transmission shifts excellent. Body is rock solid. Floors, rockers, trunk, underside, and engine compartment are incredible. Engine compartment paint on inner fender wells look like factory new. The only rust is just the little you see in the pictures around the license plate area and a touch behind rear passenger tire. Bumpers are beautiful with no damage and the chrome is gorgeous. Car has not been in an accident. There is a little dent in the driver door since there is some bondo on it by the handle, but door function is perfect. Probably got opened into something. Both doors close soundly. Rear hatch works with the button as it should and stays up with the gas struts. It is missing the door panels as most fell apart on these cars, but pretty easy to fabricate with white material. Have seen it done and looks sharp. Interior plastic looks nice with minor damage and is fragile. Glass is good and nice and clear. Good hubcaps. Tires are old. It is really a great little Pacer and would be nice to redo or drive. Black vinyl trim missing on both doors. Could use a carb kit. Brakes work and do not leak, but could use a going through. It will make a very nice car for whoever wins it. I have also included a picture of a 1973 Hornet X Levi edition I have for sale. It is totally rust free and original paint, is a factory 304 V8 car, and it is a factory 3 speed manual. The Hornet has never been in an accident and has no dents. If someone is interested in it let me know. Thank you very much and good luck. On Sep-24-15 at 15:42:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Just wanted to let people know some of the paint is thin and can be seen in the pictures. Where you see thin paint, like behind the driver door by window, it is not rust but just the paint worn out. Basically paint is down to primer. Only rust is around the license plate (very small) and just a little behind the passenger rear tire from mud sitting in that rear lip. All of car is original paint, I believe, after looking very close at it. The only exception is the driver door and the small dent fix I described. Body is incredible. Hope this helps.
