This bus has low mileage runs drives stops steering and suspension is tight. engine runs well and has many up grades 1676 cc carburetor. the body is in great shape some miner dents and dings but NO ROT yes no holes or patches just original metal complete floors and dog legs just as good. Many new and used parts and extra parts included in the sale as well as a tow bare and light bare for trans port in tow. All the glass and vent windows and screens are in great shape and work as they should no radio dash is good no cracks or were all lights work. The bus ,van has all five new tires and cleaned and painted wheels with nice caps the brake system was totally rebuilt front to rear engine is tuned and clutch was replaced. I have many new parts and all the old ones as well 1971 was the last year of the up right engine and the first year of disk brakes. The info I have is the bus was reg in Connecticut and I picked it up in new Hampshire and I live in Rhode island and we don't need titles for old cars but not to worry I can reg and title here for a fee or there is always Vermont. The bus was looked over by bill at engines by benz he licks its originality and condition he is well known in the north east for vw work as he has been in the biss for 52 years. I have no proof of this but we all feel that this bus is from the south west or desert, cali ? anyway you cant go wrong with this bus look closely at the body pics we don't see many like this around here and so complete sliding door works good as it should and jealousy widows work good to and this bus has the rear sway bare op rear bumper is dented but usable also has kids bunk cart and adult bunk kart for pop top many books to go with sale .Engine bay is very clean and dry with a new battery and air tube and filter all doors lock with the same key.
