When the '65 Corvette was introduced, it made a big splash in more ways than one! This was a milestone year for Corvette in that it was the last year for the legendary Fuelie, but it was the first year for 4-wheel disc brakes as standard equipment. Oh, and one more thing, it was also the first year for the mighty Big Block engine! The 396ci Mark IV engine was a huge game changer for Corvette. It was developed for the track, and made a name for itself there and on the street. And with 425 underrated horsepower and gobs of torque to spare, the 396 soon made it known to anyone who cared that Corvette meant business!!

Just arrived! This '65 has just been delivered to our showroom and is ready for late summer cruising! It has just undergone an extensive Frame-On restoration and a $12k engine rebuild. The end result? A very beautiful Mid-Year Vette that will be able to win awards at your car shows while you also enjoy driving to and from the shows and anyplace you desire to grab attention. This 1965 396/425hp is in great condition throughout! She's also definitely very quick with the numbers matching (possibly a restamp) motor, that starts up and runs better than new! The car is an absolute pleasure to drive and tracks, and brakes, straight. The cosmetics are in very good condition with almost perfect paint and, again, new perfect leather interior. In addition to the one year only drive train, the car is also equipped with both tops (hard and soft), power windows (no more reaching over to crank open and close the passenger window), AM/FM radio and knock-off style wheels (for that added upgraded look).
