1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 2DR Coupe, 350 cu.in. V8, A/T, last year for the beautiful round headlights, this is a southern Arizona car from new, have receipts dating back to the '70s, it is only in fair condition , but a nice rust free project, I get lots of thumbs up and nice comments when i get gas, it's as pictured , original color code 13 silver, the previous owner painted it an ugly light blue , should be sanded down then repainted, The bumpers are good has a rust free body, frame and trunk exactly as shown, I purchased it this spring from an older gentleman who said the motor and trans were rebuilt, I can't confirm or deny that statement, but they are clean and it does not burn oil and it shifts smoothly, it does have a slight rocker/lifter ticking, The engine runs strong , quiet and cool on the road, has a newer battery and can be driven daily as is, will not overheat, all gauges and lights inside and out work perfectly, receipts show 4 previous owners. I had the A/C fixed and now blows cold , The 350 cu. in. 2 bbl. V8 runs smooth after it warms up (1 min.) on account the choke is not working correctly, it's all there but needs adjustment and the dash is badly cracked, weather stripping needs replacement and the top of grill is slightly dinged , very good headliner, It has tight steering, and stops straight with no pulls, drifting or any other driveability issues , can be driven any distance at freeway speeds, power brakes are very good, new catalytic converter, muffler, rear springs, shocks, carpet, gas tank, upper door panels, new blue plastic dash cover (not installed) included, The floorboards and trunk are solid with the spare tire and original jack installed, it has very nice factory OEM 15" rally wheels with heat cracked white wall tires need replacing soon, it passed AZ emissions this year, this is a 40 yr. old car that needs some attention to be nice, and is priced accordingly, I paid $3,000 for it and put another $1,400 into it and now selling it realistically for way less, (wife wants me to sell it) I've placed a very low reserve and "buy it now" price for a quick sale, bid with confidence.
