Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a very cool 1957 Ford F-100 standard length style side bed. This truck is perfect for someone wanting a turn key head turner. The vehicle has a 1974 302 with automatic. It starts, runs, drives and stops. I have had the vehicle for approximately six months and done a lot of clean up work on it. New weather seals, anti-rattle kits, rear window, tail light and marker lenses, horn, door handles, seat belts, brake work, lots of general clean up. The body is in need of paint. It has scratches, some dings, etc but overall isn't bad. I have been driving it to work and back 40 miles each way, and it runs great. However it still has manual......., well everything. I have taken it to some cruises and shows and it always gets attention. Again this is not a SHOW TRUCK! It is however a very cool garage rat that starts right up and draws a lot of attention. Frame and all essentials are solid. Right now I have too many projects and toys kicking around. This truck needs and deserves someone who will want to drive it! If you have a question , please ask!On Sep-07-15 at 14:17:32 PDT, seller added the following information: 9/7/15 NOTE TO POTENTIAL BUYERS: Evidently I may have confused prospective buyers by using the term "Standard" when referring to the length of the bed. Where I come from this term applies to the more typically found 8' bed which could haul standard lumber cuts such as 4'X8' plywood or 8' 2"x4"s, drywall etc. In 1957 ford had 2 bed lengths (8' and 6.5'). This truck has the 8' bed. My apologies for any confusion this may have caused anyone.
