This is a low mileage 1982 R65 that has been outfitted with a full Sport fairing to allow long distance touring with a small light motorcycle. Fairing fitted comes from the larger sibling R100RS. It is a bolt on application, no modification to the R65. Bike starts easily and runs quietly, shifts, stops normally. Service Inspections are current as of April 2015. This R65 Motorcycle comes with Soft luggage pictured and original speedo that became noisy and needle became erratic. Replaced with new instrument which has 4658 miles. Tires are good (not even close to wear bar indicators) . Everything works normally, no unusual mechanical sounds. Original owners health is curtailing future riding on motorcycles. Looking for a easy to handle touring mount or local commute bike, that is good on fuel and cheap to maintain, this could be the machine you are looking for.
