No reserve auction. Bike sells to the highest bidder. I have decided to sell this bike as is and stick strictly to Kawasaki restoration projects. This is a very original 1980 Suzuki GS450S, which is similarly styled to the GS1000S and KZ1000 Z1R. This bike runs, but needs the carbs cleaned since it has been setting for a few years. Runs fine at higher RPM, but blubbers at low RPM. Inside the tank is surprisingly clean, as can be seen in attached photos. New battery. Electric start and lights work, with the exception of the front brake light switch, i.e….rear brake light works, but front brake light doesn’t. Per the photos, the paint is poor and there are a few dents. The previous owner removed and discarded the stock baffles.Front tire should be replaced before the bike is ridden any distance. This would be a good bike for a daily rider, private collection or museum restoration project. Clear title in hand. Please contact me if you have any questions.
