Restoration needs to be completed on this 1975 Porsche 914 . Hasn’t been on the road in 5 years or so. The engine starts and runs but will sometimes start smoking a bit after the engine warms up. The engine should be overhauled. She drives under her own power but needs to be towed/trailered when picked up. The worst part of the car is the rot in the engine bay where the battery was originally located. Damage should be able to be repaired but will need someone with good welding talent. See photos. The undercarriage has been repaired in places with plate steel. Doors DO NOT rub, no sag. Passenger door is stiff due to hinge. 5 speed manual 1.8L 4 cylinder Twin Weber 40 IDF carbs (car was originally fuel injected, previous owner put these carbs on),. I am not sure if the engine cam has been replaced to a carb cam or if it has the stock FI cam in it. MSD Ignition Targa Top Interior is in good shape and pretty much complete, see photos Tires only have few hundred miles on them but were bought about 8 years ago, I think a rubber valve stem is leaking and should be replaced Battery is a couple years old and holds charge Odometer shows 66,700 but more likely 166,700 I had painted the car when I first got it 8 years ago but shortly after I painted it, the temporary car port it was in collapsed onto the hood and top of the car, that is why there is brown primer on the hood and top. It didn't dent the car, just scratched the paint up. I put primer on the damaged areas to just to slow any rust. See photos. Also, original color was yellow.
