This GSXR 750 was purchased new by my cousin in 1992 and ridden off and on by him until last year. When I purchased the bike the carbs were dirty from lack of use. I cleaned the fuel tank, rebuilt the fuel petcock and thoroughly cleaned the carbs. I also had to replace the battery which had also deteriorated from lack of use. The bike is stock with the exception of a jet kit and Yoshimura pipe. I have ridden the bike approximately 100 miles since I purchased it but have not yet replaced the tires. It will need new tires to get the full handling that the bike is capable of. The tires have lots of rubber but have gotten hard from age. The original tool kit is included and I will also include the matching GSX-R helmet with the bike. It is a size Large and could be used. If nothing else it would make a good pattern if you wanted to duplicate the paint scheme on a newer helmet or a different size helmet. I am located in Elgin, Illinois which is about 30 miles west of O'Hare airport for those who may have the opportunity to view the bike in person. I currently have 9 bikes and must reduce my stable a bit before winter. The GSX-R is one that I can part with since it is a bit uncomfortable for my 59 year old back!
