Vehicle Detail
1978 R100RS Motorsport One of 200 imported into the US, this bike is in used condition. Matching motor and frame #6183244, CFO is also stamped above the motor ID # - which is an indication that this bike was "California, Florida and Oregon" emissions legal in those states at the time of sale. It has 40mm carbs. 94/40/103 and 94/40/104. Odometer is at 55,665 miles. Please review photos and feel free to contact me for detailed info. It's time to let this one go to someone who will ride it. I just don't have the time to do her justice. She always turns heads, but like any 37 year old rider, there are scrapes and scratches. See pictures and if you're serious, come look at it. Dual plugged, lightened flywheel Side Luggage rack Side Luggage Some miscellaneous spares (oil filter, gaskets, replacement rubber fairing to fork boots and more.) Push rod tube drift. (Tool) Has Koni Shocks Yes the clock works. Has the luggage rack grab rail and the original grab rail. Corbin Seat is currently installed. Original Blue Seat in the Corbin box. Oh and the air pump is there, but not the cable lock. Tool kit looks complete . . . Runs well but just need to be ridden more. Comes with the parts pictured, including the original, pristine blue seat. Title in hand. I reserve the right to end the auction early if some one comes and gives me $ in person. Oh and if you have a short inseam and are less than say 5' 10" tall, don't buy this bike, unless you're going to have it lowered. It can be a real bitch to handle for someone without the leg length to handle the seat height. This is a used motorcycle, so no warranties - sold as-is. No Foreign buyers, unless you fly here with a cashiers check or cash and pick it up. I will insist that funds have cleared and are safely in my account, before I release the bike. I will try and work with someone if you want to arrange shipping, but would prefer you fly in and drive it home. No I won't take your check for more $ and refund you the difference. Go try your mom. No test rides, I've done that before with a buyer of this bike and that is how the right valve cover and fairing got the scratches you see. You can watch me ride it around the block if your want.
