Condition: Good daily driver but needs repainting. Clear coat is coming off on the trunk lid. The left rear fender has a black wrap I applied to cover the peeling clearcoat on the fender that will need to be removed before painting the car. Everything works except the heated seats. A/C blows cold, cruise control works but the kill switch on the clutch is not working so you have to remember to tap the brake pedal before pushing in on the clutch when in cruise mode, The ASC light is on because the front wheel sensors need to be replaced because I changed out the front struts for the larger vented disc brakes of the 2.8L model from the blue donor Z3 (see photos). The BMW emblems on the body need to be replaced. The driver's seat has a cover because the bottom cushion does not have a cover and has extra padding. Both seats should be replaced but don't effect daily driving. Shocks and struts should be replaced and then the padding wouldn't be needed. The windshield has a stone impact chip. have a lot of spare parts from a blue 1997 2.8L Z3 donor car that are included with the black Z3 I'm selling. Buyer has the choice of what spare parts they want to take at no additional cost. Spare new not yet installed water pump, oil and air filters. I need to clean out the garage of spare wheels and tires, carpet, body panels, etc. The MINOR ISSUE is from an ATV running into the right rear fender and I had to get the scratch repaired. Features: Economical to operate if you like to work on your own vehicle. 30 MPG on the highway/25 MPG around town but I'm a geezer and don't...okay, I do love the way this baby handles, but I'm conservative MOST of the time. Oil changes every 5K miles, so it just had one. Top was replaced 4 years ago but it already has a couple of patches and it is best to not leave it out in the rain or sun without a cover on the car. History: I bought it in an eBay auction from OHIO in 2004 and surprised my wife by giving it to her at Christmas. She loved driving it except when commuting in heavy traffic where it was hard to see past the car in front of you. So she ended up commuting to work in our CR-V and I got to drive the Z3...:D Shipping and payment: I can deliver the car at no additional cost if you are within 150 miles from Jacksonville, Florida ( I have a tow dolly ).
