stevehomner Store For sale is a 1996 Saturn SC2. I am the original owner and bought it in October 1995 with 7 miles on it. It now has 143,485 miles on it. Bright red exterior and black cloth interior. It has an automatic transmission, cruise, air conditioning, and ABS with traction control, I have the title. The air conditioner might need to be studied because I have never had it serviced and it still works. Here is what I know that needs work: muffler needs replaced, oil leak from the valve cover gasket that has soaked a spark plug in oil (attempted to fix twice at a mechanic see pic #11 ), code P0141 for O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction, code P0714 for transmission temp sensor A CKT intermitent, some rust as pictured on the driver entry pic #8, some more rust under the driver seat and the passenger side headlight makes a lot of noise going down so I just leave the lights open. The spoiler has peeling paint pic #4 , the rear bumper has a scrape, the window sills black covering has worn way on both sides (pic #5), a radio knob is missing (pic #8) and the cover of a radio speaker is cracked. The truck latch was bent but it latches. I see padding "crumbs" underneath the driver seat so something is scraping it under there. I haven't trusted it for anything longer than a few miles since April but now a tension strut or stabilizer bar or something on the front came off causing scraping (pic #15) so it is time to go. The codes were in April and the check engine light has gone on and off since then. Whether you want it for parts or to fix up here it is. Due to all this and all other unknown problems in an almost 20 year old car, this Saturn is sold “as is.” I can't offer a test drive due to whatever is going on underneath but it starts up. Best time for me if you want to come and see it is before 8 a.m. or after 3 p.m.
