For sale is my 500SL Mercedes. This was imported into the states from Germany, and made legal for registration, so it is gray market car. Did emissions and registration here in Colorado last fall, and registration went fine. VIN number will not be included as this car is not a VIN which was imported into the US. Car is a 20 footer, but up close there are some flaws. Small rust spot near driver's side front fender and a couple also small (not through) spots on the rocker panels. Included in the sale is a near perfect hardtop, with rear window defogger. Check out NADAGUIDES for value, car lists for between $19,000 and $43,000 I'd say the interior is a 8 or 9 out of 10, and exterior is the same. I need to sell, as other cars are taking over the garage space. It spent the winter outside, which is it's first extended time not in a garage. I did buy a very nice California Car Cover, which will be included with the car. Car drives super nice, and has made the trip up into the mountains several times with zero complaints. Included in sale is original manual, and all service records. Wouldn't hesitate taking this car across country.Michelin tires have tons of tread, and wheels are just okay. 2 out of four are great, and the other 2 are starting to peel a little. Spare tire and wheel also good. Original tools included with car, along with Mercedes first aid kit. ..VIN is correct, but year of car is 1985, not 1980 as listed. Ebay does not recognize this VIN, so changed year to 1980 to allow post. ..Convertible top is like new condition, and same color as interior ..Window was replaced about 4 years ago with genuine Mercedes-Benz window
