1967 VW Vintage Drag Race Bus. Own a piece of VW Drag Racing History. This bus was raced primarily on the East Coast. Complete with early BUG-IN plaques. Bus was chopped, shortened and has a custom race chassis with Drivers seat and roll bar set midway. Early Gene Berg and other brand race components . High Performance engine with dual carbs. Bus was purchased from the PO who raced it back in the day. PO advised that it ran when he parked it years ago. Engine turns with no excessive endplay noticeable. Bus could use rust repair in center of roof. I was going to cut out rusted area and install an aftermarket ragtop to fix. The rest of bus is pretty solid as pictured. I bought it and stored it in garage. Don't know anything else about it, including the engine size or engine and transmission modifications. Bus needs master cylinder (set up for Toyota brand), Wheelie Bars are missing, Rolls and Steers, Plexi windows are clouded and could use replaced. No Title, Bill of Sale only. Hate to get rid of it but I have too many projects and a couple have to go. Non-Refundable $500 paypal deposit required by winner, balance by bank wire or cashiers check due within 3 days.
