Vehicle Detail
i will be listing more info and better pics when igeta chance on wednesday night. just wanted to get this ad up and running. please check back! For sale is my 1968 chevy camaro project car.I bought this car a year ago and hopes to fix it up but it doesn't look like I am going to have the time, kids and work limit my time. I have not done anything to this car since I have bought it all info that I give is what I was told about the car when I purchased it.most of the sheet metal is new at least the entire nose.the quarters were done at one time. This car is a nice solid building block for restoration, underneath is very clean solid floors and trunk it has new competition engineering subframe connectors. 12 bolt posi{unsure of ratio} rear end out of a 68 Firebird with factory cal trac type traction bars. the motor is a 327 small block Chevy that has a gear drive it is supposed it to be built, unsure of horsepower it sounds like a beast. Has weiand high rise intake, holley double pumper carb, accel hei super coil.{owner has offered to buy the motor back if i pulled it due to the build of this engine}has dual exhaust the transmission is a t5 out of a 91 Camaro and was told it has a new centerforce clutch that cost well over $500. I have purchased an entire black interior for the car which is new in the boxes dash pad, plastic seat backs, seatfoam, seat covers - headliner carpet and insulation rear tray package etc. etc....interior now is half black and half blue looks like it was originally blue and then the last owner started to convert it to black.headliner, carpet, visors, and sail panels were done.headliner just needs fine tuning, tucked in along trim.I have bought a new grille kit with all trim chrome trim pieces. new tail light bezel and lens kit. front and rear new bumpers.new front and rear windshield chrome trim, new front lower spoiler kit The car has power brakes but is still drums all around.Car does not have power steering at the moment.rims are from a 3rd generation pontiac trans am gta, can see that they had gold centers painted black with polished lips.tires are I awesome shape also. I reserve the right to end the auction early due to the car being for sale locally. I have no title for this car. In the state of Rhode Island cars over 10 years old do not require the title, just a bill of sale and last registration and that is what I have to include with the car.please ask all questions and ill answer them to the best of my ability.thank you for looking and good luck bidding On Aug-27-15 at 20:31:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Just adding things i may have missed or worded wrong. The car is running and driving,it is currently registered and insured. When i said it doesn't have a power steering pump,i meant it has Manual steering. Car also has a welded square tie bar with brackets connecting the rear rails, looks like it was going to be converted to coil overs or just relocate the shocks. On Aug-31-15 at 04:09:26 PDT, seller added the following information: To the winner I will offer some other parts that I have from another Camaro project for additional purchase . I have two sets of rims. 20 inch Foose nitrous rims brand new with brand new tires also have Riddler flat black with machined dish 18 inch rims with brand new tires. I also have asset of traditional aluminum weld wheels with tires with good meat on them still wider in the rear skinnier in the front for that traditional muscle car look. I have a 3 inch dual exhaust with flowmaster style mufflers, I have brand new thermal headers in the box also. I have a rear sway bar that is new only used for mock up on a project by Chris Allison's chassis works. And I'm sure I have some other goodies that I could offer for additional purchase.
