Vehicle Detail

Up for your bid is an interesting car, the Austin American 3 window coupe. Rare production run on the 3 window design. I have not seen another one ever. I saw them in the catalog and you can definitely tell it is factory! I will try to add more pics once I unwrap the grille, bumper and put the front together for picture. It is such a neat small car but I haven't attempted to restore it in the 12 years I have had it in my garage. The body is extremely straight The chicken wire roof insert and all the wood is in great condition and can be used as is. Wheels and tires are very nice. The engine is apart and I may have all its parts but no guarantee.I have the radiator, as well. These were the car used in the circus to have about 15 clowns come out. It was mounted on a large podium with a hole cut out in the middle and same cut in the floor of the Austin. easy restoration or turn it into a wild gasser (hope not!). I will add more pics of the parts etc. coming with the car. I had the title but have misplaced it. I will try to find it and post, no guarantees! Please ask all questions as this is really reluctantly for sale. A $500.00 PayPal deposit is due within 24 hours and the balance in 7 days. I can hold while you arrange transportation up to 30 days but must be paid in full. No 0 bidders unless contact first or I may cancel your bid. Buyer to arrange and pay for shipping. no added fees!On Aug-28-15 at 15:15:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I am currently undergoing chemo and started to pick out the parts for pictures but got to tired. The bumpers are beautifully chromed as are the bumper guards, door pulls and hood latches. The grill is stunning with the cloisonné emblem refinished perfect. The hood is fine as well as the sides. I only found one headlight before I caved in! There are 2 driveshafts, 4 starters, extra sandblasted tire rim, Headlight mounting rod, extra rear spring?, engine gaskets (shot) pistons etc. did not see a cam or crank shaft yet. Still some un opened boxes. I did find some rust through around the wheel wells at the floor. and some other real small areas nothing that needs patch panels just make some small patches out of sheet metal. Wish I had the strength to take the pictures. Will try again tomorrow. Thanks, Ron
