Up for sale is my 1978 Mercedes 450sl. Other than the minor issues listed above, the car runs, handles and brakes well. I've changed all the fluids, oil, transmission, antifreeze, power steering, fuel filter and differential. Tie rods, center link and steering dampener are new as well. Tires are new with less than 1000 miles. Matching hard top is in great condition. Convertible top is new as well. As with any 37 year old original car, it is not perfect. There is some rust primarily on the rear driver's quarter panel that has been poorly repaired. Despite that, the car is a real looker and in good shape mechanically. I've put a lot of miles on her with no issues. I feel confident in her reliability, Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. This is a cash only deal. No checks or paypal.
