Up for sale is my truly original 1977 International Scout II Traveler 4x4. This two owner car has been in CALIFORNIA since 1984. The silky smooth 345 V8 was just given a tune up and passed smog with ease. Holley carburetor was just rebuilt in May and works perfectly. The rebuilt motor has less than 15,000 miles on it. Tags are good through July 2016. The word "survivor" is frequently abused and adjectives like "amazing", "incredible" and "pristine" are hurled about often here. This is the real deal. Interior: Nice upholstery job that looks great. New black carpet really sets off the 70's interior. Exterior: Mostly original paint with good shine that really pops. Normal scratches and chips from use. Absolutely NO RUST on this vehicle. Babied since new, and never exposed to salty roads. All gauges, lights, heater, radio etc in good working order. Everything works but cruise and A/C. (AC needs to be recharged) The Scout moves down the road flawlessly in 2 or 4 wheel drive. The top has NEVER been taken off. 4 brand new tires and brakes were put on in May. It will come with a brand new spare. You lock the hubs and then pull on the "4 Wheel" lever (to the left of the cigarette lighter) and it engages the truck into 4x4.
