1970 Dodge Charger 500 - I got this in a trade with a bunch of other parts I needed for a different type of car, but I do not need any of what you see here. Someone started to repair this body years ago & apparently gave up. Rear quarters have lower patch panels that were installed over the top of the old lower quarters. Front fenders have what appear to be home made patches in the lower dog legs & the passenger side also has a large amateur patch in the top. Fenders are just sitting on car, there are no bolts to mount them. Front frame also patched in the K-member area with a piece of angle iron. Holes in trunk, floor & frames. No engine or transmission. Differential is a 8 1/4” unit. Power steering pump is there, but no bolts to hold it to the K-frame. Doors still have glass & inner workings. No windshield or backlight. The lower dash where the gauges, radio & glove box would normally mount is gone. Jack mast was also repaired before, but it does not work. No fender tag or broadcast sheet, but the dash VIN, door sticker & body numbers match, title in hand. Lots of trim & some small parts, see photo. If you want to built a rat-rod or put a Charger on your 4x4 frame then this may be the car for you! (the wheel base is approximately 116” if you want to run out & measure your 4X4 frame) If you need a Charger to catapult over the Grand Canyon in your next movie then this would also be a good car for you! If your spouse told you they would divorce you if you drug one more car home & you are ready to be single again, then you need this car! If you have never had a tetanus shot or if you have not had a booster shot recently, then as the new owner of this car you may want to check with your doctor. Opening bid is about what I think I could part the car out for, so no reserve, I would rather sell it all at once. I encourage you to come see it in person before bidding! You will need a tow dolly, roll back or car trailer to pick it up, there is no room anywhere close by for a large commercial multi-car hauler. $500.00 deposit via Paypal due at end of auction & the remainder in cash at time of pickup.
