HABU SR 71. That's the theme I built this Mach around . These cars have always reminded me of the famous spy plane ...sleek...long ...mysterious...nothing looks like them so I nicknamed it the Habu Project . Reluctantley selling because I have another project going on and need money and space. The drivetrain is from a low mileage 1993 Mustang GT. 302 rebuilt with an E 303 Cam. , everything new inside. T5 5 speed manual tran gone through,. The Habu has about 200 miles since rebuild New dash pad,New exhaust, New floorpans, New Trunk pan, New Grill, New Heater core, New Equus Blue LED Guages, New Boss CD/DVD w/ 7 inch screen. New decals that I had to have made Special. Rearend is Richmond 3.89 Ratio Underneath is clean and bodywork all done Trunk fully carpeted Flaws are it looks great from ten feet. Paint has some runs and scratches(about one year old). Has a 600 Holley that needs tweeked. Runs very good but is holding back a bit. Mach 1 , drivers side decal ...front fender...got scratched a wee bit. touched it up . Needs a new glove box. Clean Kentucky Title. On Aug-18-15 at 03:56:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Wanted to add: The guy I got this off was building it to race. Luckily I got it before he got it on the track(he ran out of cash before he could get it on the road). He had racing seats and a racing harness installed, and a funky small steering wheel. I stripped all that out and found the original seats and original steering wheel. I then gave it to my body man and told him to make it look like the SR 71 Blackbird. (the car was originally red). His compressor developed issues(said he) so it wound up with some runs in the paint . They can be buffed out but from ten feet I can't see them. Some things I forgot the other night when I was listing: Has new headliner, new exhaust from headers back, Uses Mobil 1 synthetic oil, oversized oil pan (chrome), new chrome traction bars, Original rear louvers, new belt tensioner. Does not have seat belts, have windshield wipers but they are in trunk(not been in the rain since I have had it). A little work and this can be the baddest mach around.
