You are bidding on a 1968 Cadillac, this was a Florida car for it's first 30 years, until 1998. It was purchased and drove to Michigan and re-titled in Michigan, and has been garage kept, only driven in the summer. If you live in Florida or California you can buy a one way ticket and drive it home, or you could arrange shipping. If you live within 200 miles of Grand Rapids, Michigan, we have a trailer and are willing to deliver the Caddy for a nominal fee. There are many new items with in the last year, that include belts, hoses, shocks, plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, points and the tires are new with less than 50 miles on them. I have pictures of all 4 hub caps and will send them to you. How much would it cost to buy new or used hub caps? Of course that is if you could find them. On Aug-20-15 at 20:37:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Added August 20, 2015: Several emails about the car have come in, and I have fielded numerous questions: Does the car run and drive, does the engine smoke, or transmission shift OK or does it slip? Yes the car runs and drives, there is no noise in the drive train that I can detect, the engine does not smoke and there is no slipping in the transmission and drives through all the gears. As I said above, if you lived in California or Florida I would have no hesitation of jumping in the car as she sits and drive it across the country. Any repairs that needed to be done have been done, she is ready to go. Questions about CV boots and joints. One recent repair as a new front wheel bearing and if either of the CV boots were in need of repair it would have been done at that time. I am unable to get a camera in that space to get a focused picture of the boots, but I can see no tears in the boots. How is the under carriage on the car? As you can see by the photos, the gas tank and trunk bottom are in the picture. You also see a new exhaust front to back. You can also see the brake line on the frame, there is no rust. Pictures taken from the front you can see the new shocks and the exhaust. All recently replaced. This was a car that was driven spring, summer and fall. It did not see Michigan snow or salt. It was not a daily driver, but I would not hesitate to drive it daily weather permitting. How is the chrome, is there any body work? There is one spot on the right rear quarter, just under and in front of the Cadillac emblem that you can see some body work. You can see them in the still photo. I can see small scratches in the paint that looks like body filler, and you can see it has been repainted there, and the luster is not there like the rest of the car. In all the other panels I see no obvious body work. The chrome is not rusty, but if you look at the video you will see where I zoom in on the left rear tail light chrome and bumper and those are the worst spots on the chrome I see. If you look at the front bumper in the still pictures, there appears to be a ripple or indentation on the left front bumper. Has there been any brake work done? Yes, how recent I am not sure, but it is not in need of any brake work front or back. Do the power windows work? Yes all four power windows work. I will also add here the front blinkers on the front fenders do work and blink on and off. I will also state the headlight doors are zip tied shut, there is a vacuum leak and the headlight doors will not open due to the vacuum leak. So, if I drove the car across the country it would have to be day light hours or find and fix the vacuum leak. BELOW IS A LINK TO THE VIDEO. I started the car in the video while sitting in the passenger seat. All I had to do was turn the key. I did not have to step on the accelerator. In the video you will also see the trunk has no carpet, just the trunk floor. There is also a complete jack and spare in the car, and the spare holds air. How is the interior? The dash is intact and no cracks in the dash, the rear seats are excellent condition. The drivers front seat has a rip near the seam and there is a still picture of that, and is also shown in the video. There is also some work needed on the wood grain. It appears in spots the finish has come off. The carpet is in excellent condition. The VIDEO taken the day before I uploaded the video.
